ARCH. TECH.
James Joyce once wrote, "A man of genius makes no mistakes; his errors are volitional and are the portals of discovery."
Over the years I have been either in training or the thick of the Architectural Industry and have come to expand my skills and knowledge base a great deal and have been very fortunate to meet some amazing individuals. Below are some of my many works as an Architectural Technologist and Designer; I have divided them in to several catigories, primarily Residential and Commercial works which eventually bleeds into a miscellaneous runoff of creativity and chance. I hope you enjoy.
During my time in the field of Architecture I have worked on an ever increasing number of residential projects for many different persons and businesses below are some of my more recent works.
When I was attending George Brown College I had the fortunate pleasure of studying under Sandra Baldwin. Sandra at the time was also Treasurer of BILD and winner of BILD's Green Renovator of the year both 2010 and 2013. After my graduation Sandra and I kept in touch and since I have had the pleasure of assisting her with several projects this year.
50 ROBERT STREET PROPOSED FRONT PORCH
For the past several months on and off I have bees assisting Scott Barker (OAA) with some of his residential and commercial projects on a freelance basis. Below are some excerpts from one of projects we have completed together in the Downtown area.
3054 Franze Drive was the first full house I had spearheaded design on & coordinated and managed consultants on. This project in Mississauga project started as a renovation but soon turned to a full demo and rebuild. Through the images below one can see some of the various design options presented as well as some of the working drawings submitted to the City of Mississauga.
On my first project with Sergei, Founder of Pleks, he was asked to produce several renderings for a retro fit of a facade in Rishmond Hill. Here were the results.
here is a rendering of an interior condo remodeling I was asked to do while at PLEKS; below is the proposed and constructed.
For the past several months on and off I have bees assisting Scott Barker (OAA) with some of his residential and commercial projects on a freelance basis. Below are some excerpts from one of projects we have completed together in the Yonge and Eglinton area.
I have worked on a myraid of commercial projects both through my internship and independantly. To date I have independantly complted three Change of Use, worked on several interior projects and completed one Minor Variance Application.
Victoria Ballet Academy in Vaughan was my first building in which a Minor Variance was needed. We transformed the building from an F2 to an A2 Occupancy but in doing so we need to increase our parking to an impossible number of spots for the lot space. Below are some of the drawings we sumbitted for the Change of Use.
When I graduated from school at George Brown I completed a four month internship at Turner Fleischer. During my time there I worked on base building and tender documents for Loblaw's Property Limited. That placement lead me to work on several of their different brands, each similar yet each unique.
In my last year at George Brown College one of our final assignments was to create an infill addition to the school.
As we all are aware, over the last decade+ there has been wonderful technological advances to how we view, perceive and approach the AEC industries. But behind the pretty 3D modeling, renderings and advanced interoperability lay passionate people like myself who are fueled by creating data saturated models designed for leveraging.  This technology boom has also allowed us to look closely at AR (augmented reality) and the virtual creation of objects and concepts once feasible only in limited mediums: below are some examples of the aforementioned and more...
Here are miscalanious renderings and tidbits done for other projects either not in this summary or done to test certains softwares abilities.
Below is an assortment of photographs that were on here before I updated this page to reflect mostly architecture and I like them so much I figured I'd leave them in for your enjoyment as well.
